A Wizard on Wilshire, Todd Rundgren Brings the Damned If I Do Tour to the Wiltern
Todd Rundgren plays the Wiltern in Koreatown on Monday, November 2, with a five-piece band including Kasim Sulton and Prairie Prince.

Todd Rundgren will play the Wiltern in Koreatown on Monday, November 2, a stop on his Damned If I Do Tour, Ultimate Classic Rock reported when the fall dates were announced in July.
The Los Angeles night sits in the middle of a 20-date run, mostly through the West and Southwest, that opened October 21 at the Castro Theatre in San Francisco and ends November 21 at the Capitol Theatre in Salt Lake City. Rundgren, the singer, songwriter and producer, reaches Wilshire Boulevard after eight European concerts in September, according to Ultimate Classic Rock and Far Out Magazine.
Who Is in the Band
He is touring with a five-piece band, both outlets reported. Kasim Sulton plays bass, Prairie Prince plays drums, Gil Assayas plays keyboards, Bruce McDaniel plays guitar and Bobby Strickland plays horns.
Rundgren said in the tour announcement that the setlist is built for a crowd that wants different things.
“It’s always a challenge for me because my audience is so diverse, I never know what they’re in the mood for,” he said. “I want to make sure we have all the musical ammunition we need to satisfy the spectrum.”
The Wiltern hosts another veteran’s night two weeks later, when Josh Homme gathers Weird Al, Beck and St. Vincent on the same stage.
