Josh Homme is filling the Wiltern with friends for a good cause. Josh Homme and Friends, a benefit for CORE and the Sweet Stuff Foundation, will take over the Koreatown theater on Monday, November 16, with doors at 7 p.m. and the show at 8 p.m., according to the event’s Ticketmaster listing.

The listing describes it as an evening curated by Homme, and the bill reads like a late night jam that got out of hand. “Weird Al” Yankovic, Norah Jones, Beck, St. Vincent and The Kills are set to perform, along with Homme and his Queens of the Stone Age bandmates Michael Shuman and Troy Van Leeuwen. Chad Smith, Andrew Watt and tennis great John McEnroe are also listed among the performers. Comedy comes from Bill Burr, Sarah Silverman, Dan Soder and Dean Delray, with magician Justin Willman on the bill, and the listing promises special surprise moments and appearances.

Jack Black will be there too, presenting a special award, Consequence reported.

Proceeds go to two charities. CORE, the Community Organized Relief Effort, is a global organization dedicated to empowering communities in and beyond crisis, according to Consequence, and the Sweet Stuff Foundation helps career musicians, recording engineers and their families who are struggling with illness and disability, Happy Mag reported.

An artist presale opens Wednesday, October 7, at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster with the code SWEET, and the general sale opens Friday, October 9, at 10 a.m., according to Consequence. The show is all ages, and every guest needs a ticket regardless of age, the listing says.

Weird Al has a busy fall in Los Angeles. Before the Wiltern, he will be at the Greek on Halloween, as Velvet reported in Weird Al’s UHF screening with a live orchestra.
