Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to read Velvet Hollywood. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 at Level AA and we keep working toward it.

What we have built in

• A skip link and full keyboard navigation, including search and the menu.
• Descriptive text for photographs.
• A lights on mode with dark text on a light background for anyone who finds the neon look hard to read.
• Animations that switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Text that scales with your browser settings.

Known limits

Glow effects on decorative neon lettering can be harder to read for some people, so key information is never carried by the neon script alone. Pages we link to are run by others and may not meet the same standard.
