Rockabilly After Late Night, Conan O’Brien and The Vigodas Play the Teragram Ballroom
Conan O’Brien brings his covers band The Vigodas to the Teragram Ballroom on Friday, November 6, with Malena Cadiz opening.

Conan O’Brien and his band The Vigodas will play the Teragram Ballroom on Friday, November 6, with Malena Cadiz opening, according to the venue’s event page, which lists the all-ages show as sold out.
The Vigodas are a five-piece rock and rockabilly covers band with O’Brien, the former late-night host and podcaster, on vocals and guitar. LateNighter reported that the lineup includes Jason Roberts on guitar, Erik Kertes on bass, Ben Alleman on keyboards and Josh Adams on drums, sidemen whose credits include work with Beck, Shakira and Michael Bublé. The name honors Abe Vigoda, the character actor who was a recurring presence on O’Brien’s Late Night.
Where the Band Has Played So Far
The band debuted with a surprise set at Permanent Records Roadhouse in Los Angeles on Monday, August 10, LateNighter reported. Setlist.fm’s account says the debut ran four covers and that the band doubled that to eight at the Troubadour in West Hollywood three nights later, where about 500 fans paid $25 each. Songs named in that account include Moon Mullican’s “Seven Nights to Rock,” Elvis Costello’s “Radio Radio” and “Baby Let’s Play House,” the Arthur Gunter song Elvis Presley recorded at Sun.
The Ojai Valley News reported that the band played a sold-out surprise opening set of about 30 minutes at Ojai Underground on August 14.
“He sang really well, the band was tight, played a handful of classic songs and an Elvis Costello tune,” Bernie Larsen, the venue’s co-owner, told the paper.
O’Brien was on Hollywood Boulevard in September when his old writing partner Greg Daniels got his Walk of Fame star.
