Just a Man and a Guitar, Keb’ Mo’ Talks The Breakdown at the Grammy Museum
The five-time Grammy winner sits down for a conversation and a performance at the Clive Davis Theater on Tuesday, October 27.

The Clive Davis Theater seats 200, which is about the right size for one acoustic guitar. On Tuesday, October 27, at 7:30 p.m., the Grammy Museum at L.A. Live hosts An Evening With Keb’ Mo’.
The museum describes a conversation with the five-time Grammy winner about his album The Breakdown, his creative process and more, followed by a special performance. It calls the record a solo acoustic collection that blends folk, blues, jazz and soul. The museum does not name a moderator.
The Album
The Breakdown came out August 21 on Concord Records, Rock and Blues Muse reported. It has 10 tracks recorded at his home studio outside Nashville. The gospel sextet Take 6 appears on “They Don’t Make ‘Em Like They Used To” and the Soweto Gospel Choir on “Hand It Over.” The first single was “Fussing and Fighting,” and the album follows 2021’s Good To Be.
