Jay Leno is working the clubs this month, and working them hard. Between October 5 and October 13 he is booked for six sets across two Hollywood rooms, the Comedy Store at 8433 Sunset Boulevard and the Hollywood Improv at 8162 Melrose Avenue.

The Comedy Store gets four of them, all at 8 p.m. in the Main Room. Monday, October 5, is Top Tier Comedy with Howie Mandel, Natasha Leggero, Donnell Rawlings and Ron Funches. Wednesday, October 7, is billed as Legends, with Iliza Shlesinger, Mandel, Arsenio Hall, Carol Leifer, Greg Baldwin and Kevin Nealon. He is also listed on the Horribly Funny bills on Tuesday, October 6, and Tuesday, October 13, alongside Tiffany Haddish.

The room has a pedigree. “Created by Mitzi Shore to feature today’s comedy heavyweights and showcase tomorrow’s headliners, this is our biggest showroom,” the club says of the Main Room.

On Melrose, the Improv has him twice. Tuesday, October 6, brings a Tonight at the Improv lineup with Sebastian Maniscalco, Anthony Jeselnik, Nealon, Brian Monarch and Jen Murphy, with tickets from $55.09. Thursday, October 8, pairs him with Trevor Wallace, Monarch and very special guests, from $34.49. Both shows will start at half past seven. “Saying what we’re all thinking has always been Sebastian Maniscalco’s specialty,” the Improv’s billing notes.

The Comedy Store is 21 and over with a two-drink minimum, phones stay sealed in Yondr cases until the show ends, and lineups are subject to change. At the Improv, the name on the ticket must match the ID presented at the venue.
