One Night on Melrose, Iliza Shlesinger Headlines the Hollywood Improv Before Her 2027 Tour
The comedian plays a special-event set in the Main Room on October 15, as tickets for her Free Nights & Weekends Tour go on sale.

Iliza Shlesinger has a new tour on sale and a club room to play first. The comedian headlines the Main Room at the Hollywood Improv, 8162 Melrose Avenue, on Thursday, October 15, at 7 p.m. The club bills the night as a special event, with tickets starting at $49.94. Velvet also covered Four Nights on Melrose, Chelsea Handler Settles Into the Hollywood Improv.
The timing lines up with bigger news. On September 29, Variety reported that Shlesinger will spend 2027 on the Free Nights & Weekends Tour, which kicks off on January 15 at Wild Horse Pass Casino Resort in Chandler, Arizona, and wraps on November 13 at the 312 Festival at the Chicago Theater. In between come stops in Atlanta, Houston, Detroit and New York City, where she plays the Beacon Theatre on October 22. The only California stop on the list is the Yaamava’ Theater in Highland on January 16. Tickets go on sale today, October 2, at 10 a.m. local time, after an artist presale that began on September 30.
She arrives with seven specials behind her. The latest, A Different Animal, premiered on Amazon Prime Video in 2025 and followed six for Netflix, Hot Forever, Unveiled, War Paint, Freezing Hot, Confirmed Kills and Elder Millennial. The Improv’s bio credits her with coining the term “Elder Millennial” in the special of the same name. She also wrote and stars in the romantic dramedy Chasing Summer, which premiered at Sundance.
The résumé runs long beyond stand-up. The Improv notes that she is the only female and youngest comedian to hold the title of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, that she has guest hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and that she played opposite Mark Wahlberg in the Netflix film Spenser Confidential. She wrote and starred in the Netflix comedy Good On Paper, too.
Buy direct. The Improv says third-party tickets will not be honored, and the name on the ticket has to match the ID shown at the door.
