Delilah on Vermont Avenue, Tom Jones Brings the Come Gather Round Tour to the Greek Theatre
Tom Jones plays the Greek Theatre in Griffith Park on Monday, October 26, at 8 p.m., one stop on a fall North American tour.

Tom Jones will walk out under the pines of Griffith Park on Monday, October 26. The Greek Theatre lists the show at 8 p.m., with doors at 6:30 p.m., presented by Live Nation and Nederlander Concerts. Live Nation bills the evening as the Come Gather Round Tour, and no support act is listed.
A Fall Run Across North America
Consequence reported in May that the Come Gather Round North American Tour is a 25-date run of casinos and theaters that began in mid-September and ends November 1 at The Masonic in San Francisco. Jones announced it on Instagram, writing, “So pleased to say my band & I will be playing across North America this Fall bringing our show to you.”
Consequence’s routing puts Los Angeles after three nights at Wynn Las Vegas (October 21, 23 and 24) and ahead of The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park in San Diego on October 27. Nederlander Concerts notes the late-career run of Ethan Johns produced albums, from Praise & Blame to Surrounded by Time, his most recent studio album, which came out in 2021.
What the Show Sounds Like
The singer’s official site carries reviews of his summer dates in Europe. They describe a set that opens with “I’m Growing Old,” moves through Leonard Cohen’s “Tower of Song” and Bob Dylan’s “Not Dark Yet,” and arrives at hits including “Sex Bomb,” “Delilah” and Prince’s “Kiss.” The reviews single out his band. Setlists change from night to night, so treat that as a guide to the show’s shape and not a promise of the Greek program.
The Room
The Greek is the Griffith Park amphitheater Velvet has already visited this month for Ella Langley’s two nights, and it closes its October calendar with Weird Al Yankovic’s UHF night on Halloween. JamBase lists the venue’s capacity at 5,870.
