Back to Friends in Inglewood, Sombr Brings His Arena Tour to the Kia Forum
The indie pop singer plays the Forum on Saturday, October 10, with Tom Odell and The Hellp in support.

Sombr has graduated to the Forum. The singer brings his You Are The Reason Tour to the Kia Forum in Inglewood on Saturday, October 10, with Tom Odell and The Hellp as special guests, according to Los Angeles magazine, which led its Thursday weekend guide with the show.
The magazine described him as a Gen Z breakout star with hits such as “back to friends” and “undressed,” and the Forum date as a one night stop on the tour. Discover Los Angeles also listed the show among the best things to do in the city this weekend, with the same two supporting acts.
The arena run is a step up. When Sombr announced the 37 date tour in April, he was fresh off a Coachella set that included a duet with Billy Corgan on the Smashing Pumpkins song “1979,” Pollstar reported. His previous tour, Pollstar noted, was mostly in large theaters, including a sold out show at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium that drew 8,602 tickets and grossed $453,503 according to Pollstar Boxoffice reports.
Pollstar’s schedule had the tour opening at the Pepsi Center in Mexico City on July 22 and playing Red Rocks on July 26 before turning across the continent. The Forum falls the night after a stop at the Honda Center in Anaheim on October 9, and three nights before Pechanga Arena in San Diego on October 13. It will finish at Madison Square Garden on November 23.
The support bill rotates by city. Pollstar listed Interpol, The Last Dinner Party, Tom Odell, Dove Cameron, Balu Brigada, King Princess, The Hellp and Hannah Jadagu on select dates. Los Angeles drew Odell and The Hellp, the same pairing that opens in Anaheim and San Diego.
The Forum sits in the middle of a long California swing. According to the dates Pollstar published, the tour reached California at Golden 1 Center in Sacramento on October 6 and SAP Center in San Jose on October 7, then comes south to Anaheim and Inglewood on back to back nights. After San Diego, the tour moves on to Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona on October 14 and then into Oklahoma and Texas.
It is a crowded Saturday in town. The same night, TLC and Salt-N-Pepa bring En Vogue to Intuit Dome, according to Discover Los Angeles, which put both shows on its weekend list. At the Forum, the night belongs to the singer Los Angeles magazine called a Gen Z breakout star, and to the songs that put him in arenas.
