Barry Bostwick, who played Brad Majors in the 1975 film, will stand in front of the screen at The Wiltern on Monday, October 26, to host The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Live Nation lists the start at 7 p.m.

The night is a stop on the Spooktacular tour presented by producer Scott Stander and The Stander Group. BroadwayWorld reported that the run goes from October 1 to November 7, with Bostwick, Nell Campbell (Columbia) and Patricia Quinn (Magenta) appearing in rotation. Its schedule lists Bostwick alone for Los Angeles.

What the Night Includes

The Stander Group’s tour page promises “a hosted screening of the movie in a new 4k restoration with a live shadow cast and audience participation,” along with a costume contest and a V.I.P. meet and greet. BroadwayWorld said the shadow cast performs in sync with the film on stage and that prizes go to the top three costumes of the evening. “Sequins are encouraged. Fishnets are practically mandatory,” the announcement added.

BroadwayWorld also reported that at the stops where Bostwick appears, fans get a live performance of “Once in a While,” a song from the stage show that was cut from the movie. The tour’s own page does not mention the song.

Live Nation sells three extras separately from the show ticket, parking, lounge access from 6 p.m. and a VIP meet and greet.

A Crowded Halloween

The Wiltern night opens a busy stretch for midnight-movie loyalists. Cinespia brings The Thing to Hollywood Forever on October 31, and Discover Los Angeles lists a second Rocky Horror screening at The Ford that same night with the shadow cast Sins O’ the Flesh.

Practical Details

Monday, October 26, 7 p.m., at The Wiltern, 3790 Wilshire Blvd. Tickets and add-ons are sold through Live Nation and Ticketmaster.
