Last Call Before Cleveland, the Rock Hall Inducts Oasis and Sade at the Peacock Theater
Tickets are on sale for the November 14 induction downtown, where first-time nominees Phil Collins, Wu-Tang Clan and Luther Vandross are among the honorees.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame will induct its class of 2026 on Saturday, November 14, at the Peacock Theater in downtown Los Angeles, with doors at 6 p.m. and the ceremony at 7 p.m. Tickets are on sale through AXS, Axios reported on October 1, with orchestra seats starting at roughly $550.
Phil Collins, Billy Idol, Iron Maiden, Joy Division/New Order, Oasis, Sade, Luther Vandross and Wu-Tang Clan go in as performers, and Collins, Vandross and Wu-Tang were first-time nominees. Celia Cruz, Fela Kuti, Queen Latifah, MC Lyte and Gram Parsons receive the Early Influence Award, Linda Creed, Arif Mardin, Jimmy Miller and Rick Rubin are honored for Musical Excellence, and Ed Sullivan receives the Ahmet Ertegun Award.
“Induction into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is music’s highest honor,” said John Sykes, the Hall’s chairman. The roughly 7,100-seat Peacock hosts the ceremony for the second year in a row, and the show returns to Cleveland in 2027.
One inductee will be on the other side of the world. Iron Maiden will be on tour in Australia around the ceremony date, manager Rod Smallwood said, and the band will not attend. “Iron Maiden have always been about our relationship with our fans above anything else, including awards and industry accolades,” the band said, as Ultimate Classic Rock reported.
The night will not air live this year. The ceremony will be taped and broadcast in December on ABC and Disney+.
