Phoebe Bridgers will close the North American leg of The Lost Tour with three nights at Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Friday, October 30, Saturday, October 31, and Sunday, November 1. Alex G opens, the shows are all ages, and phones are sealed in Yondr pouches for the night.

It is her first arena tour, built around her new album, Lost Weekend. At the Philadelphia stop, the Inquirer’s Dan DeLuca watched the main stage sit under a dome that looked like a giant cloche, lifted to reveal a nine-piece band with a four-person string section and the multi-instrumentalist Melina Duterte, who performs as Jay Som. In Chicago, the Sun-Times described the dome steaming, lifting and tilting under celestial projections.

A second, satellite stage carries some of the most memorable moments. In Philadelphia, Bridgers played a six-song set there, sometimes solo and sometimes with her string players, then brought out Alex G and his band for a duet on his 2017 song “Bobby.”

Between songs, she talked about who gets to sing about hard things. “I used to think that artists had traumatic lives,” she said in Philadelphia. “Now I realize it’s just that artists sing about it. Really, it’s everyone. Everybody deserves their own documentary.”

Many dates sold out, and in September a waiting list for unreleased production tickets opened through Seated. After Inglewood, the tour crosses to Europe, opening November 23 in Dublin, with Isaac Wood, formerly of Black Country, New Road, opening.
