Marc Maron is spending the first weekend of October on the Sunset Strip. The Comedy Store has him on three lineups in two nights, starting tonight, Friday, October 2, with Best of the Store XL in the Main Room at half past seven. He shares that bill with Vicki Barbolak, Orny Adams, Frankie Quiñones and Argus Hamilton, and the club promises more.

Saturday, October 3, is a double. Maron is listed first on the Main Room’s 7 p.m. Best of the Store lineup, ahead of Al Madrigal, Francisco Ramos, Sarah Tiana and Hamilton, then crosses to the Original Room for Headliners of the OR at 8 p.m. with Ali Macofsky, Nate Craig, Mark Ellis and Dean Delray. That later show was down to 22 tickets on the club’s calendar this week.

Then he moves to La Cienega. Largo at the Coronet has booked a Marc Maron stand-up show for Tuesday, October 20, and another for Tuesday, November 24, both with doors at 7 p.m., an 8 p.m. start and $40 tickets. Velvet also covered Brett Goldstein’s new hour at Largo.

The Los Angeles dates bracket a long run on the road. His tour page lists stops in Munhall, Pennsylvania, Cleveland and Royal Oak, Michigan, from October 9 to 11, El Cajon on October 24, the Beacon Theatre during the New York Comedy Festival on November 8, and two shows at the Castro in San Francisco on December 5. Hennepin Arts, which hosts him at the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis on November 21, bills the run as the Yammering into the Void Tour.

The résumé behind the material is long. Maron has released five stand-up specials, the venue notes, most recently Panicked, which premiered on HBO in August 2025, two years after From Bleak to Dark earned him a WGA nomination. WTF with Marc Maron, the interview podcast he launched in 2009, logged more than 1,600 episodes with guests including Keith Richards, Carol Burnett and Robin Williams, and in 2023 the Williams episode became the first one-on-one podcast episode inducted into the National Recording Registry. On screen, he plays Mitts, a former caddy, opposite Owen Wilson in the Apple TV+ golf comedy Stick.
