Jennifer Meyer’s fine jewelry turns up on Taylor Swift, Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Alba. This fall she designed a six-piece capsule with Citizens of Humanity, the L.A.-based denim label, and the collection is out now.

The pieces are meant to be layered and worn for the long haul. There is a lace-trimmed slip dress and a matching camisole in cream Japanese hammered satin, a long Japanese flannel button-down in Marina Plaid, and the Blaine vintage straight jean in regenerative cotton with an exclusive light indigo wash. The darker half is black leather, an oversized bomber and the Jen straight pant, a new style for the label.

Prices run from $298 for the camisole and the jean to $1,298 for the leather pant, and sizes run XS to XL and 23 to 34.

Meyer said the clothes follow the same rule as her jewelry. “That California casual, day-into-night aesthetic is exactly the spirit I keep in mind when I design all of my jewelry, elevated but never trying too hard, pieces that get better with wear and pick up your own history over time,” she said. Marianne Gallagher McDonald, the label’s creative director, saw the fit early. “From our very first conversation, it was clear that Jen and I shared a similar philosophy about getting dressed,” she said.

The collection is sold at citizensofhumanity.com, where the flannel shirt has already sold out. Meyer’s own boutique at Palisades Village reopened in August after nearly 18 months of renovations.
