Ebony has named its 2026 Power 100, and the magazine will celebrate the class in Hollywood. The annual Power 100 Gala will take place on Monday, November 9, at the Hollywood Palladium, Variety reported. The private, invitation only evening will open with a red carpet and cocktail hour at 5 p.m., followed by the awards ceremony at 7:30 p.m. and a reception at 10:30 p.m. Jesse Collins Entertainment, the company behind the BET Awards, the Emmy Awards and the Super Bowl Halftime Show, will produce it.

The list carries the theme “The Stories We Shape.” Keke Palmer, Questlove, director Gina Prince-Bythewood, Warner Bros. Television Group chairman Channing Dungey and NBC’s Pearlena Igbokwe are among the Entertainment Powerhouses. Megan Thee Stallion, T.I., Jay-Z and Gamma co-founder Larry Jackson lead the Music Innovators. Debbie Allen, the artist Rashid Johnson, novelist Colson Whitehead, choreographer Charm La’Donna, and Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz are named Artists in Residence. Common and Vic Mensa are among the Community Crusaders, and Naomi Osaka and Nneka Ogwumike lead a sports group that includes five New York Knicks, according to Variety and EURweb.

“For generations, Ebony has been where Black excellence is named, documented and celebrated, and the Power 100 carries that responsibility forward,” Ebony CEO Eden Bridgeman said in a statement to Variety.

A new category this year, the Junior Bridgeman Business Vanguard, is named for the late Ulysses “Junior” Bridgeman, who founded Ebony’s parent company and was Eden Bridgeman’s father. Byron Allen and Sam’s Club U.S. CEO Latriece Watkins are among its first honorees.

“On November 9, we will convene at the Hollywood Palladium to celebrate the individuals whose stories and leadership are shaping this moment, while also recognizing the collective power of a community that continues to drive American culture forward,” Bridgeman told Variety.

The Palladium date lands a little more than two weeks after another honoree’s Los Angeles homecoming, as Velvet reported in Jay-Z’s two SoFi Stadium nights on October 23 and 24.
