On Thursday, October 15, White Rabbit Sky Lounge goes pink. Every shade of it. Babes in Toyland returns for its fourth annual Pink Party, a night of fashion, beauty, nightlife and philanthropy held in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

This year’s party benefits HerToo, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women impacted by breast cancer. The formula is simple. Think pink, dress pink, and party for a purpose.

The rules of the night

Read this part carefully, because the dress code is not a suggestion. Pink attire is mandatory. Guests who show up without pink will need to buy a $25 pink ribbon at the door, with 100 percent of that money going to HerToo. The organizers are not kidding, and honestly, the photos are better when everyone commits.

There is also a giving requirement built into the ticket. Guests are asked to bring a $25 gift card from Visa, Amazon, Target or a similar retailer to donate to HerToo. Between the ribbon rule and the gift card ask, the night raises real money before a single drink is poured.

What to expect

Step onto the pink carpet and you will find pink-themed photo activations, models, influencers and special guests, plus music and entertainment from DJ Cool Whip and Chloe Hakola. The organizers bill it as one of the most photographed Babes in Toyland events of the year, so come camera-ready.

The crowd is a mix of fashion people, creators, industry professionals and VIP guests, which is the standard Babes in Toyland formula. What sets the Pink Party apart from the group’s other nights is the cause at the center of it. Breast Cancer Awareness Month gives the evening a weight that most rooftop parties do not carry, and the HerToo partnership keeps the fundraising concrete.

The practical details

The party runs from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Thursday, October 15, at White Rabbit Sky Lounge, 8440 Sunset Blvd, above the Strip. Tickets are available through Eventbrite, and the venue’s own calendar page has the full rundown.

If you are going, plan the outfit early. Pink is a broad mandate, but the best-dressed guests tend to go bold. Glamorous, sexy, sophisticated or creative all work. Just make sure it reads pink from across the room. And do not forget the gift card. That part is not optional either.
