The Black Parade turns 20, and the band marks it with five shows under the shell, ending on Devil’s Night and Halloween.

Twenty years after The Black Parade put a generation in marching black, My Chemical Romance is bringing it home to the Hollywood Bowl. The band plays the shell on October 21, 23, 24, 30 and 31, five nights promoted by Live Nation and Hewitt Silva, and Time Out Los Angeles reports the album will be played in full.

The calendar is the point. October 30 is billed as Devil’s Night, with The Used opening. October 31 is the Halloween show, with Thrice. Flood Magazine calls that closing pair the final two shows of The Black Parade 2026 Tour, which makes the last weekend of the month feel less like a concert and more like a costume party with a very loud ending.

The demand is not hypothetical. Pollstar reported that the band’s 2025 Black Parade run grossed $88,552,117 across 11 shows and sold 448,045 tickets, with two nights at Dodger Stadium accounting for $14,965,124 of it.

The parade spills onto the boulevard, too. Hot Topic is running a Black Parade pop-up at Ovation Hollywood, on Level 3 at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard, from October 1 through October 31. There is a photo op on the throne of His Grand Immortal Dictator, and the shop stays open until 1 a.m. on concert nights.

For anyone who wants to rehearse at home, an expanded 20th anniversary edition of the album arrives October 23 on Reprise Records, the same week the band settles in under the shell.
